Regional account manager

Hankscraft AJS has been in business for over 30 years creating dynamic displays and POP (Point of Purchase) products for businesses, including tap handles and other promotional products for the brewing industry, and supplies components to the display industry. We design, manufacture, and take great pride in the quality of our products and the level of service we provide to our customers

 

Overview:

This position is responsible for the sale of beer tap handles and other promotional products to breweries as well as sales to display businesses that use P.O.P. (Point of Purchase) products and components.  Regional Account Managers will grow sales primarily through lead sourcing, new accounts acquisitions, in market meetings and presentations, and by increasing the sales to current customers.   Regional Account Managers have daily contact with customers of various sizes, building relationships, problem solving and assessing their needs.  This position will work out of our Random Lake, Wisconsin office.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, grow, manage, and expand relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Analyze customer/prospect needs, identify opportunities, present solutions, and close the sale.

  • Develop and execute a creative strategic sales plan.

  • Prospect and develop new relationships with customers.

  • Work at a fast pace on multiple projects and utilize effective time management skills.

  • Identify trends in the market and help develop product lines to fit current and future needs.

  • Work directly with Project Managers, Marketing & Design Team and Prototype Lab to create industry leading ideas and solutions.

  • Attend trade shows and other events throughout the year to represent Hankscraft/AJS.

  • Deliver your sales plan objectives.

Job Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Three or more years of successful outside experience in sales.

  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and properly prioritize them.

  • Effective listener, who can understand the customer’s requirements and desires. 

  • Must be willing to travel extensively. 50+% out of State.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field preferred.

pad print/engraving tech & prod. flex

Overview:

This person will be responsible for pad printing and or laser engraving of tap handles and other related promotional products as well as a utility/floater for other production departments as demand requires.  A keen eye for detail and color is necessary and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to deliver quality products on time to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate pad print and laser engraving equipment.

  • Prepare ink, burn plates and setup equipment.

  • PMS color matching

  • Train on all woodshop equipment, including chop saw, lathes, sanders, table saws, wood planer, drill press, and lagging machine.

  • Ability to read and understand provided information from job ticket, drawings, work instructions.

  • Understand standard units of measure and set up and interpret results of various measuring devices.

  • Able to spot imperfections/banding/color variations and perform necessary printer maintenance to rectify.

  • Must follow standard operating procedures and practices to ensure consistent and uniform quality of files.

  • Ability to work as a team player who enjoys a collaborative deadline-driven environment with a superior focus on detail.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Attention to detail.

  • Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able reach at waist level and below frequently.

finishing prep operator

Overview:

This person is responsible for preparing and racking components for finish spraying.  Accuracy and attention to detail is needed as minor imperfections are sanded and patched to ensure quality products are delivered to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce custom wood products in accordance with quality and production standards.

  • Review job tickets and preform duties in order of operations. Able to read and understand engineered drawings.

  • Work with small hand tools such as sanding blocks, small cut-away knives, putty, and putty knives.

  • Accurate recording of completed pieces in labor recording computer program.

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

  • A conscientious work attitude and pride in the work environment is strongly encouraged.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Detail oriented individual.

  • High school diploma or equivalency.

  • Must pass a drug screen.

  • Must be able grasp, power grasp, and have fine manipulation motor skills.

  • Able to lift 40 lbs.

TAP HANDLE ASSEMBLY

Overview:

This person will be responsible for the final assembly, inspection, and packaging of tap handles and other related promotional products for the brewing industry – the last set of eyes before delivery to the customer.  Attention to detail is a must to consistently deliver quality to our customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  •     Final assembly, inspection, and packaging of tap handles and other promotional products.

  • Adding ferrules, top caps, and decals to wood or urethane handle base according to customer specifications.

  • Final inspection and packaging.

  • Work with small, detailed parts and small hand tools such as screwdrivers, tape dispenser, small cut-away knives.

  • Accurate recording of completed pieces in labor recording computer program.

  • Train on all areas of tap handle assembly with minimal supervision.

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

  • A conscientious work attitude and pride in the work environment is strongly encouraged.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Janitorial/ general cleaning (part time)

We design, manufacture, and take great pride in the quality of our products and the level of service we provide to our customers

 

Overview:

This person will be responsible for general housekeeping of designated facility areas including lunchrooms, restrooms, reception areas and meeting rooms. Scheduling for this position is flexible, approximately 8-10 hours per week which can be split between two days.  All tools, equipment and supplies are provided.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly cleaning of the lunchrooms, bathrooms, reception area and conference room.

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

  • Dusting countertops and furniture.

  • Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, lunchroom appliances.

  • Empty garbage.

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

  • A conscientious work attitude and pride in the work environment is strongly encouraged.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Able to use variety of cleaning products and equipment.

  • High school diploma or equivalency.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Able to lift 40 lbs.

  • Must be able to reach at waist level and below, push/pull/twist, and bend and squat occasionally.

  • This is a part time position, approximately 8-10 hours per week.

  • No benefits are available for this position.
